Frequently Asked Questions...
Q: CAN MY CHILD COMPETE IF WE DO NOT OWN A BOAT?
A: Sometimes. It all depends on if we can find volunteer coaches that are willing to donate their time and boats to the kids.
Q: IF A VOLUNTEER COACH TAKES MY CHILD OUT, SHOULD I PAY THEM?
A: Yes, it's custom to tip the coach for their gas to show your appreciation. Also PLEASE have your child help the coaches clean up the boat after the tournament. Leave it cleaner than you found it! This league doesn't run without our coaches please show them love.
Q: HOW CAN I HELP THE SFL?
A: The SFL can always use help setting up and tearing down. If you are able to help more, we are looking for people to help with the weigh-ins and snacks for after the tournaments. We will need many hands to help with the end of year picnic, to set up and tear down, raffle baskets, 50/50 , etc.
